I am new, how do I get started?
Sign up for a class before arriving to Athletic Playground, and we look forward to seeing you! We recommend starting with our Intro Offer. Having trouble/Questions? Please email frontdesk@tapgym.com
Can I sign up when I get to Athletic Playground?
No, everyone is required to reserve a spot in class before showing up to Athletic Playground. If you are having issues, please email us for assistance in advance.
Do you have classes for adults?
Yes, any class that doesn't have a top age restriction (for example, ages 16+) is for an adult, sometimes teens are welcome to join.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that you can move in. No jewelry, buttons or zippers for classes using aerial fabrics.
What should I bring?
Non-glass water bottle.
Can I try a class for free?
We don't offer free classes. Single sessions are welcome. We recommend starting with our Intro Offer. Please pre-register before arriving to Athletic Playground.
What should I do if I or my child is sick?
If you or your child are sick - Please don't come to Athletic Playground! You may reschedule your classes online up to 1 hour before class start time with no charge. If the 1 hour mark has passed, please Email us before class start time and we can help you reschedule.
FAQ - Pricing:
Can I use my class package/membership toward different classes?
Yes, you can use your class credits for any classes of the weekly classes.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership yourself online using a web browser. Alternatively, you can email us at frontdesk@tapgym.com with at least 14 days' advance notice.
Can I share class packages/memberships with my child or another family member?
Yes, you can! Once you purchased the package/membership, email us us which names on the accounts you would like to share the package/membership with, this includes your children's accounts. Please note that you can not share the intro offer and some special discounted packages. Note that the sharing setup may take 2-3 day to kick in. The first 3 shares are free for a package or a membership, and after that there is a $15 cost for any additional person you want to share the package/membership with. Every time you purchase a new package or membership, you will need to set up the sharing again.
Can those pricing be used toward workshops/camps/private classes/events?
No, the pricing for memberships and class packages cannot be applied to workshops, camps, private classes, or events. Each of these offerings has its own separate pricing and cancellation policies, distinct from the class pricing structure we have in place.
Can I extend my class package?
Yes, it costs $15 for every additional 30 days from the date of the expiration. To pay the extension, you can do so here. Note that the extension set up might take 2-3 days to kick in.
Examples:
If you purchased a package that expires on 12/1/22, you can pay $15 to extend the package to 12/31/22.
If you have a membership with credits that expired on 3/1/22, you can pay an extra $15 to extend the classes to 3/21/22.
Can I get a refund?
No refunds for any reason. You may share the class package with another person. Email us for assistance.
Refund policy for workshops/camps/events/private classes:
30+ days before camp start date: 90% of paid amount or full AP credit.
14-29 days before start date: 50% of paid amount or full AP credit
13 or less days before start date: No refunds.

I need to cancel the class I signed up for, how do I do that?
For on-going classes: You can cancel up to 1 hour before class start time with no charge and you will be able to use the class credit toward future classes. If you cancel less than 1 hour before class start time you will still be charged. If you are having a difficult time cancelling online, email us at least 1 hour before class start time.
Please note the refund policy above for workshops/camps/events/private classes which is different from the on-going classes.
I need to cancel the reoccurring reservation, how do I do that?
Email us, at this point we have to remove the automatic reservations on our end. You can remove only single reservations on your end.
This is too expensive for me, do you offer scholarships?

FAQ - Information for Parents:
What should my child bring?
Comfortable clothes (no zippers/buttons/jewelry) and a water bottle (not glass). Over the winter it gets cold, consider bringing warm layers that are comfortable to move in.
For camps, please also bring a snack.
What is the pick up window?
Please arrive when class ends. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be charged $15 per every additional 10 minutes.
Can I bring my child to a different age group?
If your child is less than 6 months younger than the class lower age limit, your child may take a single class and check in with the teacher after the class if it is a good fit to continue.
If your child is older, they can join class for younger students, as long as they are okay with doing the class with the younger children.
Our instructors have the final say in whether or not a kid is a good fit for a different age group.
